OVERVIEW
The Software Engineering programme at the University of Bolton has been designed collaboratively working with industrial partners to ensure that students study a comprehensive programme of relevant industrial topics. Entry Requirements
- You should have a Level 5 Ofqual regulated qualification in a computing related subject.
- You will need either a FdSc or HND in a software engineering or Computing/programming related courses.
- Students with non-traditional qualifications and/or relevant experience may be accepted onto the course after a successful interview.
- You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.

Entry Requirement
- Applicants with Level 5 qualifications (for example Higher National Diploma, ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Business) from approved awarding bodies will be considered for transfer to the final stage of the BSc programme and earn their degree in one year.
- Applicants who have successfully completed 2 years of study at a University can be considered for direct entry with advanced standing. Other equivalent qualifications may be accepted for entry to this programme.
- Decisions for admissions will be based on overall suitability for the programme and whether the minimum entry requirements of holding GCSE English and Math’s at Grades C and above (or equivalent) are met.
- Individuals who are based outside of the UK may need to demonstrate English at IELTS LEVEL 6.0.
